Equality is inhuman
Capitalism cannot offer you equality—equality is inhuman–, not even security in terms of assistance (capitalism opens a range of possibilities so you, and only you, ensure your security). Capitalism however can offer you the highest percentage of freedom existing in society – to live in society implies to give away a few quotas of freedom—and a life with dignity, as long as… you work. Actually, you will need something more than work to have a dignify life in capitalism: you will need to be responsible for yourself and your surroundings (not waste the fruit of your labor, to keep a minimum order in your life, to make your work become your realization, etc.)
On the other side of the court you have socialism, which can offer you neither freedom nor the range of opportunities for you to guarantee your own security. Of course, it will offer you equality on dependency and scarcity, as it can already be seen in Venezuela. You will not have to envy those stylish well-dressed men driving a Lamborghini nor to despise those workaholics that never stop living to work. There will no longer exist, neither workaholics nor Lamborghini cars. You will not have to (go through) work anymore because there will be no work.
In the end, it will be the vegetative paradise. Finally, the law of the jungle.
